Can you skate forwards, but you're completely new to backwards skating and transitions? Perhaps you already know the basics, but want to take your technique further? Join us for a 1 hour and 30 minute beginner to intermediate masterclass taught by Kelly, Founder of Skate Base London. Kelly is a pro at breaking down complex roller skating techniques and is known for her fun and energetic teaching style! What you can expect to learn: Multiple ways to skate backwards including bubbles/lemons, crossovers, cross steps, shuffles and more!Backwards to forwards transitions (and vice versa)How to distribute your weight effectively to get the most out of your edges and transitionsHow to improve your technique, stops and general flow when skating backwardsSpaces are limited so don't hesitate to grab your ticket! Important informationThis is strictly an 18+ event for beginner to intermediate roller skatersThis is a ticketed event. Please purchase a ticket in advance as they will not be available at the doorThere will be no skate hire available, so please bring your own skates fit with either indoor wheels, or wheels suitable for both indoor and outdoor skatingEnsure your roller skates have toe stops or jam plugsOnly water is allowed at this venue. I started this trip the next morning after watching Tottenham win the Champions League on a wonderful night. When I first entered the field I was in awe. I have to say that feeling came back on the trip. The away tour is all in the west, including everything from Spurs. Jack, Lupe and Mel have shown us the players&#39; behind-the-scenes activity areas, referees and media areas brilliantly
