Introducing the Balto Advanced Pool Sessions 2023/24, an exciting opportunity for paddlers to enhance their skills and enjoy a thrilling experience in the water. These sessions will take place in Athy at K Leisure, starting on December 17, 2023. With two sessions available, from 5-6 pm and 6-7 pm, participants can choose the time that suits them best. The first session is dedicated to juniors and those seniors who are eager to learn the art of rolling, catering to paddlers with L1-2 skills. The second session is designed for more experienced paddlers with L3 ability and above, allowing them to focus on their individual learning requirements. While there is no formal instruction provided, experienced members will be present in the pool to offer assistance whenever needed. Safety is of utmost importance, and all participants must wear helmets at all times. Freestylers are required to stay in the deep end to avoid any potential hazards to other paddlers. It's essential to arrive at the pool no later than 5:45 pm, as the second session starts promptly at 6:00 pm. Please note that the car park closes strictly at 7:15 pm, so a swift exit is necessary. These sessions are exclusively for members of Balto KC. Non-members who wish to participate must seek approval from the committee in advance and hold a current CI member number. Any bookings that do not adhere to these rules will be canceled and promptly refunded. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer credits for missed sessions, and refunds can only be processed up to one week before the event. It's important to remember that the club's constitution, code of conduct, and safeguarding policies apply to all pool sessions.
