Black Widows is an all-female dark comedy open mic in Berlin that promises laughs that bite back. This night of comedy is not for the faint of heart, as the comics fearlessly push boundaries and tackle tough topics with a humorous twist. They will take you on a dark and twisted journey, leaving you in stitches (hopefully of joy) 😂😭. Prepare yourself for a slightly twisted perspective on life! 🤪 🖤

The event will be hosted by Moni Zhang, a renowned comedian and winner of the Berlin New Standup Award 2019. Moni is also the founder of the Berlin Mental Health Festival and has been featured by BBC, Euronews, Scottish Field, and The Scotsman. She is currently touring with her Edinburgh Fringe 2022 Sell-out show, "Child from Wuhan."

The lineup for the evening is full of talented and hilarious women. Each comedian is like a magician, turning words into laughter in ways you couldn't even imagine. No topic is off-limits, making it an interesting psychological experiment to see which taboo topic will make the audience sharply inhale, grimace, or laugh at. The reviews speak for themselves:

The event will take place at The Wall Comedy in Berlin on January 5th and 6th, 2024. Admission is free, but it is a Pay What You Want situation. After enjoying the show, you get to decide how much to donate. However, a suggested donation of 10€ - 15€ is recommended. Students and unemployed individuals can donate 7€ - 12€. Cards and cash are accepted for donations.
