In today's post-civil rights era, a diverse range of groups, from women's rights activists to LGBTQ coalitions, are making civil rights claims similar to those of Black civil rights activists in the 1960s. However, there has been a shift in recent decades, with white right-wing social movements claiming the collective memory of civil rights to portray themselves as oppressed minorities. This transformation of collective memory has far-reaching consequences, distorting history and posing a threat to multicultural democracy.

Hajar Yazdiha, an Assistant Professor of Sociology at USC, has extensively researched this reimagining of the civil rights movement from 1980 to the present. She uncovers how the public memory of Martin Luther King and civil rights has been distorted, perpetuating racial inequality and evading social reality. Her work, "The Struggle for the People's King," provides a powerful and persuasive analysis of the fracture in our collective understanding of our past, present, and future.

Amber Payne, an award-winning journalist and storyteller, will also be present at the event. As the founding co-editor in chief of The Emancipator, a digital publication focused on addressing structural racism, Payne brings a wealth of knowledge and perspective to the discussion.

The Harvard Art Museums are an essential part of any Harvard trip. We took our children there twice; the first visit was unforeseen, but the second was a perfect opportunity. While the museums aren&#39;t large, the galleries are interconnected, and the exhibits are strategically arranged, allowing you to fully explore Harvard&#39;s century-long collection without having to backtrack. Admission is free, but registration is required. There&#39;s a small but welcoming dining area on the first floor. It&#39;s best to avoid meal times, or enjoy brunch before entering, followed by coffee and snacks between visits. We spent a full day exploring the museums and were deeply impressed by the endless charm of this world-class university. It is a cute aquarium and perfect for a little family visit. However it is kind of small and there weren&rsquo;t as many interesting exhibitions as I expected. If you only need to spend an hour or two then it&rsquo;s perfect.

My dears, Trinity Church is worth a visit. In terms of architecture, Boston Trinity Church has a unique Chadson Romanesque style, with a rose-colored sandstone exterior, reliefs and red-topped towers that attract attention. New York Trinity Church is a Gothic Revival classic, which has been included in the National Register of Historic Places and was once a landmark in Lower Manhattan. In terms of culture, Moscow Trinity Church is an important Orthodox church dedicated to St. Vladimir. The interior murals and sculptures are exquisite, and there are precious works of art and cultural relics; there are also historical stories, such as the New York Trinity Church and Alexander Hamilton. In terms of the tour experience, the interior is quiet, and the New York Trinity Church is located at the intersection of Wall Street and Broadway, which can be connected to the surrounding tours.

This rose-colored sandstone is soft and warm in the sun, giving people a solemn and warm feeling. It has a hard texture and can still remain in good condition after years of baptism. The sandstone is decorated with exquisite reliefs. These reliefs are meticulously detailed and feature religious figures, symbolic symbols, etc., which add a strong religious atmosphere and artistic beauty to the building, making the church look solemn and dignified while showing an exquisite and gorgeous side.
