Join the Iowa Brewery Running Series™ for the Boos & Brews 5k Beer Run at Backpocket Pin & Pixel in Johnston on Sunday, October 29th at 12 PM. Lace up your running shoes and get ready for a fun-filled day of running and great local beer. The event starts at the taproom and follows a 5k-ish course that weaves through the City of Johnston. Whether you run, walk, or jog, all ages and fitness levels are welcome to participate. 
After crossing the finish line, it's time to celebrate! All participants will receive a craft beverage from Backpocket Pin & Pixel at the finish line as well as the choice of a collector's pint glass or seasonal swag item from the Brewery Running Series. Plus, there's a chance to win sweet door prizes like merchandise or beer to take home. The event will also feature live music, games, goodies, and giveaways for everyone to enjoy.
Not only will you have a great time, but you'll also be supporting local nonprofits. A portion of all proceeds from the event will go directly to organizations like the Johnston Community School District. By participating, you're making a difference in your community while enjoying some healthy activity and delicious local beer.
Registration for the event is limited, so sign up today to secure your spot. Important details to note: the event is untimed and open to all levels of walkers, runners, and joggers. The course will be marked with arrows to guide you along the route. Remember to bring a valid ID or driver's license, as you must be 21 to enjoy the beer. Dogs and strollers are welcome, but please use caution and adhere to the rules and regulations of the brewery.
