The North Texas Art Therapy Association is thrilled to offer a unique Continuing Education Unit (CEU) titled:
"The Neuroscience of Art Therapy and Trauma"
This course will delve into the latest neuroscience research and explore the profound ways in which Art Therapy can support trauma recovery. Through a rich blend of theoretical understanding and practical application, participants will learn how creative expression can heal the brain and help trauma survivors and clients reconnect to themselves and their world.

The impact of trauma on the brain and body from a neurological perspective
How Art Therapy activates neural pathways and aids in trauma processing
Creative approaches to The Window Of Tolerance theory
The role of the Expressive Therapies Continuum in facilitating emotional and cognitive processing

Case studies and clinical insights to better integrate these concepts into your practice
Incorporating the Expressive Therapies Continuum:
We will also explore how the 
Expressive Therapies Continuum
 (ETC) can be applied to trauma recovery. The ETC provides a framework for understanding how clients engage with different levels of expression—from sensorimotor to cognitive—and how to tailor your approach to match their therapeutic needs.

This course is ideal for art therapists, counselors, mental health professionals, and social workers who work with trauma survivors or wish to integrate neuroscience and the Expressive Therapies Continuum into their practice.

I think this cowboy village is pretty good. It&#39;s a crowded and lively place. Some buildings are very old, and some buildings look a bit like Mexican style. When I went there, I saw a cattle drive show, which was interesting. The cows were so cute, all with long horns, and their heads shook as they walked. Later, I went to the train station to watch a show. The cowboys&#39; gunfight was very interesting, and the gunshot scared me. Then there were many craft and painting shops, many bars along the street, and many places to consume. We bought a T-shirt with fort worth and Texas printed on it, but Made in China, haha, in short, it&#39;s pretty good! Worth a visit!
