From the Tennessee River, to the base of Lookout Mountain, through our distinct Downtown, you will experience an innovative course never run in Chattanooga’s history! The Erlanger Chattanooga Marathon presented by BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, will highlight the unique qualities that define our community as the best outdoor destination! This not-for-profit marathon will further strengthen our outdoor community while providing both a high quality and fun event for runners of all kinds. Our community welcomes you to join us for the inaugural Chattanooga Marathon. Please allow our region to demonstrate the true meaning behind southern hospitality! While the Seven Bridges Marathon primarily follows the course cut by the Tennessee River, the Chattanooga Marathon reaches all four corners of the city’s main metropolitan area. Runners can choose from either the full or half marathon, a team relay, as well as the Classic 150 5K run. The Chattanooga Marathon is a certified course, therefore, a Boston Marathon qualifier.
