Carlos Walker, an accomplished artist, will share his own artwork and discuss the impact of art on our perspectives. Walker's passion for art began at an early age, and despite facing personal challenges, he found his way back to his true calling. This event is an opportunity to learn, appreciate, and engage with the important history of African American art. Join us at the Armed Forces Retirement Home for this commemoration on February 23, 2024, at 2:00 pm. The program will begin in the atrium of the Robert H. Smith Visitor Education Center at President Lincoln's Cottage. Masks are required for visitors aged 3 and above. Don't miss this inspiring event celebrating the art and legacy of African Americans. I got a 3 in 1 ticket for Chihuly Museum + Space Needle + Xmas market that was a great deal.  space needle has been renovated and has a glass floors that you can look down. Not for people who are afraid of heights . it was very cold out on the outside circle, but the view was very good. Make sure to check the weather on the online WebCam.

It&#39;s worth it. The highlights of Mount Rainier National Park include the majestic Mount Rainier, the huge glacier system, and the rich and diverse ecological landscapes, including dense forests and gorgeous flowers.

Natural landscape:

1. Magnificent peaks: Mount Rainier is the core landscape of the park. It is towering and majestic, and is a landmark of Washington State. Its top is covered with ice and snow all year round. Against the backdrop of the blue sky, it shines with a charming silver glow, like a fairyland on earth.

2. Glacier wonders: It has the largest single glacier outside Alaska and a huge glacier system. Many glaciers spread from the top of the mountain to the surrounding areas, as if they were artistic masterpieces carved by nature with ice and snow. For example, the Emmons Glacier is not only large in scale, but also presents a dreamy blue under the sun, which is breathtaking.

3. Dense forests: The park is rich in forest resources, and there are many types of vegetation from the foothills to high altitudes. There are tall Douglas fir and western red cedar at low altitudes, while high altitude areas are dominated by alpine meadows and subalpine vegetation. The forest has fresh air and shady trees, providing a habitat for many wild animals.
