Conference of the Birds, a new original art piece by Arran Stephens, is a labor of love and introspection exploring the search for spiritual truth. Hear more from the artist and President Joy Johnson—plus enjoy poetic and musical experiences featuring performers from our community.

THE EVENING WILL FEATURE:
Arran Stephens
 is the co-founder of Nature’s Path Organic Foods, a visionary entrepreneur, gardener, author, and accomplished artist whose work has been exhibited in leading galleries in New York City and San Francisco. Arran and Ratana Stephens are recipients of the SFU’s 2024 President’s Distinguished Community Leadership Award.
Kereshmeh Ensemble
 is comprised of five local Persian classical musicians performing a selection of original and traditional pieces within the expressive framework of the Persian Dastgāh system.

Stanley Park is located in the heart of Vancouver, Canada, and is one of the largest urban parks in North America, covering a thousand acres. The park has more than 400 hectares of forest and is scattered with 500,000 trees, including hundreds of meters of Douglas fir, 800-year-old cedar, moss-dropping maples and a century-old western red cypress. The sea wall trail, which is fully paved with rocks and built by the sea, completely surrounds the entire Stanley Park, which is Vancouver&#39;s most distinctive slow-running trail, bicycle lanes and roller skating routes.
