The Drawing Schools is excited to present "Dreamin' of a Chippy Tea," a solo exhibition by Eton Ceramic Beak and Artist, Connor Coulston. Coulston, who currently teaches Ceramics at Eton College, delves into his working-class upbringing in Oldham through a collection of captivating artworks. His pieces, often centered around gaudy and sentimental ceramic ornaments, offer a fresh perspective on personal memories. Coulston's new body of work reflects his strong emotional reactions to these mundane objects, employing his self-deprecating sense of humor to create surreal and daring sculptures. Drawing the audience in with a false sense of security, his pieces eventually reveal sinister undertones. The exhibition's private view will take place on Thursday, 9th November, from 7-9pm at The Drawing Schools Gallery in Windsor. The gallery is open to visitors by appointment on Saturday and Sunday afternoons, 2.30 - 5.30pm, with free entry. Booking in advance is essential for attendance.
