On February 14, 2026, York will be illuminated by red lanterns, Hanfu (traditional Han clothing), and lion dances—the excitement isn't just in your imagination, it's a real-life spectacle. Two lions, one red and one yellow, will appear together, and the moment the drums start, the entire street will heat up. Two drummers will provide live support, creating an incredibly catchy rhythm that will "wake up" passersby and draw them in. The parade of Hanfu and other traditional Chinese costumes on the cobblestone streets of York truly feels like stepping into a "time-travel movie."
