The Dance Team Tryouts event will take place at Rockdale County High School in Conyers on April 12, 2024. The event will start from March 25 to March 28 for conditioning, with tryouts commencing on April 9 and concluding on April 12 at 3:30 PM. Registration is required to secure a tryout spot, along with a $10 tryout fee payable in cash or on the RCHS website. Talented dancers are invited to showcase their skills for a chance to join the Rockettes and Bratz Dance Teams. The tryouts are scheduled for April 10th, 11th, 12th, 13th & 14th, with specific arrival times for high school and middle school students. Participants must bring a headshot photo and wear appropriate attire. Required items include white tops, black athletic bottoms, socks or dance shoes, water bottle, towel, healthy snack, and completed application. Additionally, participants must be cleared on Rank One to attend conditioning and tryouts. The Rockette Competition Dance Team focuses on street-style hip hop and competes at GHSA sanctioned events, while the Bulldog Bratz Dance Team performs alongside the Marching Bulldogs. Dues for the respective seasons apply, with participation in fundraisers expected.
