Further your knowledge in the art of metal ring making with the Detailed Ring Bands event. Led by instructor Christina Bengtson, this class will take place on Thursday, September 28th, from 11:30am to 4pm at the NW Rockhounds venue in Seattle, WA. Designed for individuals aged 18 and above, the class will expand your basic metal ring making skills by incorporating sheet metal, scrap pieces, and decorative wire. By incorporating a variety of texturing techniques and a basic patina, you will learn to create spinner rings, wide embellished bands, and saddle rings. These substantial rings are not only enjoyable to make, but also easy to wear. Feel free to bring any scraps you have from home as materials for your creations. Please note that a prerequisite for this class is Soldering Basics 2 - Layering Metals. The price for the event is $90, with an additional $20 kit fee. It is important to come prepared with cash or a check to cover the kit fee. The class size is limited to 6 students, and masks are optional. As the event approaches, be sure to check your email for further instructions. Refunds are available for cancellations made 7 days or more in advance of the event. You can walk to the Seattle 520 Bridge from Bellevue, as shown in Figure 1. There is also a beautiful park and parking lot here. If you like to walk across the bridge, you can reach Seattle. If you like to take the bus, you can also do so. The bus station is just below the parking lot. There are many buses and the waiting time is not long. It is very convenient.

Especially when it&rsquo;s such a famous public university like the University of Washington. Gary Locke, former Microsoft chairman&hellip; they all graduated from UW. Bill Gates&rsquo; father, a well-known lawyer, once taught at its law school. Bruce Lee also studied here, and it was where he met his wife.

Later, I visited UW&rsquo;s Suzzallo Library&mdash;often referred to as the real-life &ldquo;Harry Potter Library.&rdquo; It grandeur rivals that of the Boston Public Library. The UW School of Medicine also ranks extremely high, consistently alongside Harvard and Stanford. Its programs in clinical medicine and public health are also highly ranked.

It&#39;s close to Amazon and Microsoft headquarters, and it collaborates closely with tech companies like Google and Meta, so its research funding is high.
