Details

Discover the concept of flow and unleash your creativity at the Environments for Optimal Experiences: An Art Workshop on 26th February in Swansea. This transformative research project, conducted by Swansea University's multidisciplinary team, aims to explore how physical environments can enhance our well-being by supporting the state of flow. Swansea University students over the age of 18 are invited to participate in this workshop, which will provide a deep dive into the concept of flow. During the approximately 2-hour session, attendees will have the opportunity to express their experiences through creating an artwork that embodies their personal flow environment. Art materials and refreshments will be provided to ensure an immersive and engaging experience. To contribute to the research, participants will also be asked to complete a brief questionnaire that captures their insights from the workshop. As a token of appreciation, upon completion, participants will receive a £25 Amazon gift card. The Environments for Optimal Experiences: An Art Workshop will take place at The Mall Room in the Taliesin building on the Singleton Park Campus. Please note that the workshop has limited availability, so interested individuals are encouraged to secure their spot promptly. For more information and to register for this thought-provoking workshop, please contact Dr. Amy Isham from the School of Psychology at Swansea University (a.m.isham@swansea.ac.uk). Join this enriching exploration of flow and the transformative power of art.
