Join Arivva for their 2023 Ceramics Studio, an all-ages class where everyone is welcome. Children aged 10 and under must be accompanied by an adult, who can purchase an adult ticket for $25 at the same time they register their child. Please note that all adults must purchase a ticket to accompany their youth. In this Fall 2023 Ceramics Studio course, teaching artist Delaney Hills will guide participants in creating small, vibrant plates. Through hands-on instruction, students will learn the art of clay work, mastering the tools to shape beautiful forms. The course will cover various techniques such as pinch pots, coil building, and sculpting. Students will have the opportunity to explore the endless possibilities of hand building and its artistic potential. Whether you are a new or returning student, all skill levels are welcome. Arivva's youth art classes are offered free of charge. The class will take place on Tuesday, October 3rd from 4:30-6PM at 402 Garfield St S, Parkland, WA 98444. Each student will receive 2 pounds of clay and basic tools to complete multiple creative projects. The teaching artist, Delaney Hills, will lead the classes, and any projects covered in the course will be glazed and fired. Please ensure you adhere to Covid regulations by washing or sanitizing your hands before attending the class or picking up your materials.
