This event will blend poetry, music, and dance to tell the story of resistance, liberation, and the enduring cultural ties between Portugal and its former colonies. Featuring artists with a connection to Portugal and its colonial history, Carnation is both an artistic showcase and an educational platform, shedding light on a pivotal moment in history while amplifying voices from Portuguese colonial descent. Through performances that honor the past and reimagine the future, this show invites the community to engage with history through art, fostering deeper intercultural understanding and dialogue.
