The class will be held at River Grove Community Centre Gym, located at 5800 River Grove Ave, Mississauga, L5M 4R8, on December 2, 2023. Don't miss this chance to discover the art of karate under the guidance of seasoned instructors affiliated with the Japanese Karate Association (JKA).

During the class, participants will delve into the fundamental elements of karate, including kihon (basics), kata (forms), and kumite (sparring). Emphasizing traditional values of hard work, discipline, focus, and commitment, the instructors will also incorporate complementary physical activities such as running, stretching, push-ups, and sit-ups. Additionally, participants will have the opportunity to explore the practical self-defense applications of karate techniques.

The JKA Karate Club of Mississauga is a Registered Community Group, officially recognized by the City of Mississauga. The esteemed instructors, including Fidel, Francis, Luigi, Rafik, Thomas, and Katie, boast extensive experience in teaching karate to individuals of all ages and skill levels. With a rich background in competitive karate, they have represented their craft locally, nationally, and internationally.

For this introductory class, no uniforms are required, and participants are advised to wear comfortable clothing that allows for easy movement. Please refrain from wearing skirts or tube tops. Remember to bring a water bottle to stay hydrated throughout the session.
