The Girls in Gis California-Chula Vista No-Gi Event is a highly anticipated Brazilian Jiu Jitsu gathering exclusively for women and girls. Hosted at the esteemed 10th Planet Southbay venue in Chula Vista, this event offers an incredible opportunity to learn from some of the best women in the sport. Whether you have prior experience or not, all are welcome to join this empowering community.

The event is centered around donation-based training sessions, promoting inclusivity and equal opportunity for all. Your generous donations contribute to various Girls in Gis programs, including leadership development, instructional training, and scholarships. In addition, you have the option to support the cause by purchasing GIG merchandise such as t-shirts and patches.

At Girls in Gis, we believe in fostering a supportive environment where women and girls of all ages and skill levels can thrive. While our events are designed for 100% participation, parents or chaperones are welcome to accompany underage participants as spectators.

The California-Chula Vista event will feature two exceptional guest instructors: Nora Mora, a 10th Planet black belt and women's jiu jitsu program leader, and Dawna Gonzales-Gonzales, a 10th Planet black belt and head coach of the Women's Self Defense program.

To ensure your spot at this event, registration is required, and walk-ins will not be permitted once capacity is reached. Doors will open at 11:30 am, and we kindly request participants to arrive promptly to facilitate a smooth start at 12:00 pm.
