This engaging event will take place on Wednesday, December 13th at 7 pm in the Rand Room of the Perrot Memorial Library, located at 90 Sound Beach Avenue in Greenwich, CT. Leading the discussion will be esteemed Greenwich Pen Woman, Heidi Matonis.

In "Tom Lake," the captivating narrative unfolds in Northern Michigan, where Lara's three daughters find themselves drawn back to the family's orchard. While cherries are being picked, the daughters implore their mother to share the tale of her time spent with the renowned actor Peter Duke at the theater company called Tom Lake. As Lara reminisces about her past, her daughters begin to reflect on their own lives and their relationship with their mother, prompting them to reevaluate their perspectives on the world and their understanding of reality. This beautifully written novel delves into themes of love, marriage, and the experiences of parents before their children's arrival, offering a poignant exploration of happiness amidst a crumbling world.
