The Griffin-Spalding County Library, in partnership with FROGSLIB (Friends of the Griffin-Spalding County Library), presents the 9th Annual Book Bolt 5K Run/Walk. Proceeds from the race benefit the Library's programs and collection development needs (books, audio visuals, etc.) This event is open to everyone. This is a community partnership event to raise money for the library, promote awareness of library services, have fun, and promote health and wellness. Runners, walkers, strollers, volunteers, children, and library lovers are all invited to participate in this fantastic family-friendly event. Pre - register by October 11, 2024 to be guaranteed a t-shirt. Race Day Schedule: Race day registration begins at 7:30 AM and ends at 8:45 AM Race begins at 9:00 AM. The race will be held rain or shine!
