Terezia Rostas, Founder of Care for Young People’s Future CIC, will provide her unique perspective as a Romanian Roma from the Gabor community, advocating for equality and celebrating culture. Finally, Marius Turda, Director of the Centre for Medical Humanities at Oxford Brookes University, will shed light on the history of eugenics and race in East-Central Europe.

This event is a part of the wider commemoration of Holocaust Memorial Day, which aims to remember the six million Jews who lost their lives during the Holocaust, as well as the millions of other victims of Nazi persecution and subsequent genocides. It will take place at the Millennium Gallery in Sheffield, where you can also explore stalls, exhibits, activities, and film screenings from 11 am to 3 pm.
