Camp SHiEld invites you to be a part of an incredible volunteer opportunity at the highly anticipated Houston Texans Gameday! Immerse yourself in the thrilling world of football while supporting Women Veterans. By joining Camp SHiEld, you can make a difference in the lives of these inspiring individuals while enjoying the action-packed atmosphere at NRG Stadium. With multiple dates available throughout the season, there is a perfect opportunity for everyone to get involved.
One of the volunteer roles available is that of a Digital Ticketing Ambassador. As a Digital Ticketing Ambassador, your main responsibility is to ensure that every guest entering NRG Stadium possesses a valid admission ticket or credential. You will also handle any ticket issues that may arise upon gate entry. This role requires a shift time of 8:30am to 2:00pm and is open to individuals who are at least 16 years old.
Another exciting volunteer opportunity is the 50/50 Jackpot Fundraising Representative. In this role, you will enthusiastically promote and sell 50/50 jackpot tickets to fans who are 18 years of age or older during Club home games. The shift time for this role is from 9:00am until approximately 4:00pm, which includes the end of the game. To participate as a 50/50 Jackpot Fundraising Representative, you must be at least 18 years old.
By signing up for any of these volunteer roles, you not only contribute to the success of Camp SHiEld but also raise $75 to support the Women Veterans involved in the program. Camp SHiEld is a division of After Military Service (AMS), a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the personal and professional success of Veterans and their families. Through their work, AMS empowers military families and enhances their resiliency and life satisfaction.
