Join Aunty Pi'i and the KOKA hula dance team at Keiki O Ka ʻĀina in Honolulu for the in-person event "(In-Person at KOKA Kalihi) Simple Hula - 'Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride'." This event will provide an opportunity to learn hula in a traditional setting. Those who sign up will receive further instructions through reminder emails. Please note that only one ticket is needed per 'ohana (family), and registration will include 'ohana information questions.

To prioritize the safety of participants, temperature checks and a Risk & Liability form completion will be required. While masks are optional at this time, we encourage everyone to follow the current health guidelines. If you or a member of your immediate family is feeling unwell or may have been exposed to Covid, we kindly request that you refrain from attending.

Families are welcome to bring their keiki (children); however, please note that childcare will not be provided. For the safety of all attendees, please ensure that your keiki remain with you throughout the duration of the event.

Please be aware that while this class will also be broadcast on Zoom, in-person participants will not be shown during the virtual broadcast. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. Mahalo!

A &quot;village&quot; with a strong Edo-era style. The buildings inside are undoubtedly interesting for tourists who like Japanese Warring States culture, but they are limited to buildings. With the blessing of the snow, the scenery can be given 4.5+, but it may only be 4 points on weekdays.
But it is very interesting. There are many interesting small projects in the village to experience, such as the monster house, ninja experience and other free projects, and other projects that can be experienced for 500 yen. Not only that, there are four performances of three different themes of &quot;Ninja, Samurai, and Oiran&quot; every day, and the time of each round can just connect. For me personally, the fun of the performance is: Samurai&gt; Ninja&gt; Oiran, but they are all interesting. After all, these performances are already included in the ticket. You can experience the culture of the Edo period in person, which is worth the trip.
The biggest disadvantage is the price. The price of 159 per adult is really a bit expensive. Although it may be because of the high prices in Japan, it is indeed expensive. After the overall visit, including watching three performances, it is only about 2 hours, which is slightly not worth it. Therefore, it is recommended that tourists who are not history fans/Japanese Warring States fans should consider carefully.
