Red Phoenix is excited to announce their upcoming fall production of Into the Woods (Saturday Matinee). This highly anticipated show is part of the Red Phoenix fall community theatre series and promises to be a timeless classic that will captivate audiences. Into the Woods, written by James Lapine and Stephen Sondheim, brings together beloved storybook characters in a tale that is both relevant and enchanting.

The Tony Award-winning book and score of Into the Woods have earned it a well-deserved reputation as one of Sondheim's most popular works. The story follows a Baker and his wife as they embark on a journey to break a Witch's curse, hoping to fulfill their dream of having a child. Along the way, they encounter Cinderella, who dreams of attending the King's Festival, and Jack, who wishes for his cow to give milk. As each character's wish is granted, they soon discover that their actions have unforeseen and disastrous consequences.

Into the Woods will be running from October 20th to October 29th, with multiple performances throughout the week. The showtimes are as follows: October 20th at 7pm, October 21st at 2pm and 7pm (Saturday Matinee), October 22nd at 2pm, October 27th at 7pm, October 28th at 2pm and 7pm, and October 29th at 6pm. All performances will take place at the Red Phoenix Performing Arts Studio located at 8560 Holcomb Bridge Road Suite 110, Alpharetta, GA 30022.
