Get ready for the ultimate powerlifting showdown at the JB Andrews 8th Annual Powerlifting Meet on January 25, 2024! The JB Andrews Fitness Center is thrilled to announce the 8th Annual Powerlifting meet, set to take place in Joint Base Andrews, Maryland. Weigh-ins for this prestigious event will begin at 1600 hrs, followed by the lifting competition at 1700 hrs. Athletes will have the chance to showcase their strength and skills in the Squat, Bench Press, and Deadlift.

With a range of weight classes available, participants will be competing against those in their respective divisions. For the lightweight women, the weight limit is up to 134.9 pounds, while the middleweight women category includes competitors weighing 135 pounds and above. The lightweight men category comprises individuals weighing up to 199.9 pounds, while the heavyweight men division includes those weighing 200 pounds and above.

To determine the winners in each division, the prestigious Wilks formula will be utilized. The top three lifters in each weight class will be awarded for their outstanding performance. Please note that space is limited to the first 25 lifters who sign up for this highly anticipated event.
