With a degree in Ceramics Design from Glasgow School of Art, Karen continues to develop her themes of form, color, and pattern.

Living and working from her studio in Renfrewshire, Karen finds inspiration in her local town of Paisley and its iconic paisley pattern. Her designs are both decorative and functional, and she prefers to use the slab building method for her ceramics. Each piece is a labor of love, taking many hours of work to design, make, and complete.
