On Sunday, December 17th, join Kevin for his latest performance workshop, "Squeezing Comedy from Improv," also held at the esteemed Calliope Films Production Studio. This workshop takes a unique approach to sketch writing, incorporating improvisation techniques. Kevin will guide groups of 4 students through improvised scenes, exploring how to extract comedic gold from these spontaneous moments. Together, they will analyze each scene, discussing ways to enhance the humor, develop characters, and construct a compelling narrative. Participants will then have the opportunity to refine their scenes into fully-prepared comedy sketches, followed by individual performances and feedback from Kevin. Similar to the previous workshop, "Squeezing Comedy from Improv" has a maximum capacity of 16 students.
