Kids Clay Play is an interactive workshop designed for children aged 3 and above to explore the wonders of clay. Hosted at Yarralumla Primary School in Yarralumla, ACT 2600, this event on March 23, 2024, offers a hands-on experience where children can create their favorite animals or objects using clay. Under the guidance of instructors, all participants will have the opportunity to work with clay, which will then be fired in the kiln and available for pickup at a later date. The ticket price for this engaging and educational morning is $27.78, inclusive of all materials and expert supervision. Canberra&#39;s Cotter Dam is a very interesting place, the dam waterfall looks majestic than many natural dams There are two hiking routes to play, one is relatively short, you can go to a Lookout to see the dam underneath, this route is more trees, very easy, There is also a stream, called discovery trail. Another route is five kilometers back and forth, there is a small mountain bag, the scenery along the road is good, if it is a big day, it will be a little sun, you can go to the top of the mountain to see the dam, called HonyongWalking Track. Of course, it is not a problem to go both routes, and it will not be particularly tired. In addition to the dam itself, there are many small tables in the parking place for picnics and barbecue grills. I went there for the Last Post Ceremony (it&#39;s free but you still have to book tickets online) and it was quite interesting. The ticket to the ceremony doesn&#39;t grant you access to the other parts of the museum but if you have enough time and are interested in Australia&#39;s war and conflict history it looked well displayed.The War Memorial is also a great starting point for a hike up to the Mount Ainslie Lookout with a beautiful view over Canberra - especially great during sunset.

Canberra&#39;s chinatown is not like the archway in Melbourne and Sydney. It&#39;s a street with Chinese restaurants. Not very long, many restaurants with various flavors from China&#39;s north to the south to the Great Northwest, there are several supermarkets, there are scattered Indian and Thai dishes. There are parking spaces on both sides, but it seems that the parking space is quite tight.
