Discover the art of lampshade making with Bev Nicol in a hands-on workshop in Yass. Unleash your creativity, gain inspiration, and give a fresh new look to an old lamp base. Two workshop dates are available for this exciting event: Saturday, 23rd March 2024, and Saturday, 1st June 2024. Regardless of your skill level, this workshop is suitable for all participants. Each attendee will receive a kit to create a 30cm x 23cm drum lampshade (fabric not included). 

To participate, remember to bring along a unique piece of fabric measuring 50cm in height and 100cm in width. Opt for light to mid-weight cotton or cotton-linen blends for best results. If you choose a patterned fabric, it is recommended to select a non-directional design as stripes can pose challenges for first-time lampshade makers. Membership holders can join for $125, while non-members can reserve their spot for $140. During the workshop, refreshments will be provided.
