Please note that if you've attended the "Learn to DJ: Beginner Level" class before, this class may serve as a refresher. If you're looking for a more intensive experience, consider the Level 2/Intermediate Class. During this 90-minute class, you'll gain an introductory understanding of how to DJ and the basics of mixing music. The curriculum will cover various topics based on the needs and interests of the class, including beat matching, song structure, song selection, mixing in key, understanding equipment and buttons, sound engineering basics/theory, mixing techniques for different genres, where to source music, finding gigs and live streaming, the harmony of the Camelot Wheel, and intro music theory.
