Join the panel discussion at the LifeWork: Language, Literature and the Archive exhibition, hosted at the NYU Special Collections Gallery in New York City. The panelists for this event include Lisa Darms, Executive Director of Hauser & Wirth Institute, Karen Finley, an artist, writer, and professor at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, Hendrik Folkerts, a writer and curator of international contemporary art, Amy Scholder, a producer of documentary features, and Lia Gangitano, founder/director of PARTICIPANT INC.

Kathe Burkhart, an interdisciplinary artist and writer, will be reading poetry and selections from her journals. She has exhibited her work internationally and has received prestigious awards and grants. The discussion will be moderated by Nicholas Martin, Curator for the Arts and Humanities at NYU Special Collections.

The exhibition, LifeWork: The Kathe Burkhart Papers, showcases drawings, paintings, photographs, and new Puzzle Haiku floor works, as well as raw videos and literature from the Kathe Burkhart Papers. It offers a deep interdisciplinary understanding of Burkhart's diverse and polymathic practice, using personal ephemera as raw materials.
