Get ready to immerse yourself in the world of literature at LitCon Mobile - Writers Symposium & Authors Expo. This exciting event will take place in Mobie on December 1st and 2nd, 2023. LitCon brings together authors, readers, and book lovers for two days of literacy fun. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet their favorite authors, attend engaging panels, and celebrate all things books.

The event kicks off on Friday, December 1st with a colorful and vibrant Author Color Party themed Meet & Greet. This event is free for all attendees and will feature different themes based on book genres, such as orange for children's books, blue for spiritual books, red for romance, green for poetry/healing/motivational, purple for urban/crime/mystery, yellow for sci-fi/fantasy/action, and brown for genres not listed. It's a chance to connect with authors and fellow book lovers in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

On Saturday, December 2nd, the Writers Symposium will take place at the Cody Road Boys and Girls Club. This symposium is a great opportunity for aspiring writers and authors to learn from experienced professionals and gain valuable insights into the world of literature. Following the symposium, the Authors Expo will be held at the same location. This is an excellent chance to discover new authors, explore a wide range of books, and have your favorite titles signed by the authors themselves.

In addition to these events, there will be an Author Pop up & paint n Sip session at Blu Impressions Studio on Saturday evening. For a fee of $30, attendees can create their own author-themed masterpiece while enjoying a relaxing and creative atmosphere.

Registration for authors and vendors is now open on the LitCon website. The registration fee is $100 and includes additional perks such as a LitCon Podcast interview and an author article in the upcoming LitCon Magazine.
