London St Patrick's Day 5k! Join us at the Lodge Cafe by Hyde Park Corner for the fifth annual London St Patrick's Day Run! We will complete a social running 5k lap of the perimiter of the Serpentine in Hyde Park - following the trails closest to the Serpentine, keeping it always on your right - before returning to the Lodge Cafe. We then follow on to a post run social at a nearby Irish themed bar. The pub is booked. A pint of Guinness is included in the ticket price redeemable at the Horse and Groom Belgravia pub (7 Groom Place, London, SW1X 7BA) only a short walk away & the closest pub to the Irish Embassy.  Great to be a part of the wider St Patrick's Day celebrations taking part in London. Join in and be a part of the global international 'Sea of Green' celebration of Irish culture which goes on throughout St Patrick's Day! It is not uncommon to see Emerald Isle celebrities on the startline, the pub afterwards, often both! We are often joined by our friends at the Embassy of Ireland, whose building we pass on the way from the finish of the social run on our way to the pub. Our guide, Ms. Diana, was absolutely fantastic! She knew the British Museum&#39;s collection like the back of her hand! We just finished our trip&mdash;she was incredibly patient, explaining each of the museum&#39;s most prized possessions in detail. Those three hours were so fulfilling! Otherwise, we would have been wandering around like headless chickens!

It is definitely worth going. You can deeply feel the profound British culture and the importance Britain attaches to talents in various fields such as science, culture and art. When we went there, we queued for less than an hour to get in. The order arrangement in the venue was very reasonable and the Chinese translator was very useful.

This is a well-deserved attraction, ideally allowing at least two hours. It&#39;s grand yet unassuming, and historical yet not outdated. Each step is incredibly difficult to take, and the scenery is breathtaking. You won&#39;t want to stop until you&#39;ve seen enough. Photography is not permitted.
