Join the beginners course in traditional silversmithing and jewellery making techniques at Thorniley Studios in Manchester. This workshop is perfect for those who want to learn the basics of silversmithing and create their own sterling silver ring. You will be guided through techniques such as sawing, soldering, and shaping/forming using 100% recycled silver and all materials will be provided. After approximately 4 hours, you will proudly take home your very own handmade silver ring. 

For your safety, please remember that this event is suitable for individuals aged 16 and over. Sensible footwear is required, so please avoid open-toed shoes or sandals. It is also important to tie your hair back and refrain from wearing your best clothes, as they may get dirty during the workshop. If you wear glasses, it is recommended to bring them along for the intricate work. Please note that this is a shared workshop, so there may be other artists present. 

In order to make this event more accessible, there are two concession tickets available per workshop. These tickets are intended for students, unemployed individuals, or those with low wages. The ticket prices have been kept affordable to ensure that more people can participate. Please choose the appropriate ticket based on your circumstances. Refunds are not offered, but tickets can be transferred to an alternate date up to 14 days prior to the event. The rescheduled workshop must be within a month of the original date.

Went to Happy seasons restaurant and TSUJIRI in Manchester Chinatown with my mates after exams. Authentic Chinese cuisine with reasonable prices. The matcha sundae was also delicious. There are also many nice Asian restaurants around the area.
