The Historic Hampton House Museum of Culture & Art is excited to announce the launch of its inaugural exhibition, taking place during Art Basel Miami Beach 2023. Titled "Gimme Shelter," this powerful exhibition has been curated by renowned art collector Beth Rudin DeWoody and artist/curator Maynard Monrow. The exhibition pays homage to the rich history of the Historic Hampton House as a safe haven for artists.
This remarkable collection features a carefully selected array of important works from some of Greater Miami's top gallerists, local artists, and the international diaspora. With their experienced curatorial eye, DeWoody and Monrow have assembled a truly impactful showcase.

There&#39;s no leisurely atmosphere like a resort beach here, but it&#39;s full of raw and vibrant energy&mdash;the horns of cargo ships mingle with conversations in Spanish, the salty sea breeze blows in your face, and everything is real and lively.
