The Monthly Art Exchange: Artist Networking Event will be held at the Petaluma Arts Center in Petaluma, CA on Tuesday, January 23, from 6-8pm. This event, which will take place on the fourth Tuesday of every month, aims to bring artists together to exchange their artwork and receive feedback from their peers. Participants are encouraged to bring either a finished artwork or a work in progress. The evening will begin with a discussion on how the monthly exchange will work, based on the group's feedback, which will shape the future meetings. The participants will then break into small groups to discuss the artworks shared by the artists. The Petaluma Arts Center will provide guidelines for these discussions. Towards the end of the evening, the participants will reconvene as a large group to share their impressions and discuss any other issues that may arise. Refreshments will be served throughout the event. In addition to the monthly exchanges, the Petaluma Arts Center will also schedule professional presentations periodically throughout the year. Artist members of PAC can attend the event for free, while regular members and non-members can join for a fee of $10.
