Join the Creative Becoming community for a remarkable gathering that celebrates and connects artists and their audience. The Monthly Open Mic is a unique event where artists from all backgrounds come together to share their artistic expressions. This inclusive space welcomes performers of all types, whether you're a singer, actor, instrumentalist, poet, comedian, beatboxer, magician, writer, storyteller, juggler, or performance artist.

The event takes place on Friday, Jan 12th at The Perch Music & Arts Studio, located at 2321 Emerald Street, Philadelphia, PA 19125. Performers, audience members, listeners, and friends are all welcome to attend and experience the artistic connections that will be made.

To secure your spot, advance tickets are available, as capacity is limited at the door. Both performers and attendees require a ticket. If you're interested in performing, simply sign up on the first-come, first-served list at the door. The studio provides a grand piano, PA system with Bluetooth capabilities, mood lighting, an intimate stage, light refreshments, and plug-ins for your instruments. Feel free to bring your own equipment as well.

Each month, the Monthly Open Mic event spotlights a featured artist and theme. This curated approach fosters support within the community and showcases fresh talent. The Perch Music & Arts Studio offers a variety of instruments, including a Steinway piano, microphones, Bluetooth speakers, guitars, bass, and ambient lighting for a captivating performance. Late attendees are also welcome to join.

The Monthly Open Mic is hosted by Creative Becoming, a community that connects artists and audiences while deepening personal and collective relationships with creativity and the arts. I have to say that the Penn Museum is also a variety of academic and unique exhibits in the NO1 category museum. Especially in the Asian Pavilion, the Chinese national treasure-level cultural relics are moving... The consultation service is also very satisfactory. The Egyptian Pavilion is under renovation, but some cultural relics are merged into other pavilions. The national treasure cultural relics of the Middle East Mesopotamia and the New America Maya Aztec civilization are eye-catching. The ancient Greek and Roman artifacts are really a pile of piles, and the underground special exhibition actually has a 1960 u2 plane incident introduction... In short, the Penn Museum is a worthwhile trip!

Philadelphia was once the capital of the United States, so there is plenty of history, museums, monuments, and sites around the city. The Philadelphia Museum of Art boasts a nice array of exhibits. I visited on a Friday evening after work because museum admission is free Friday evenings (pay what you wish). I did pay for parking at their garage, which was only $5.

I feel that the attractions in downtown Philadelphia are really excellent. This monument near the Freedom Bell is unified and managed by National Park. Opposite the Freedom Bell is a large visitor center. Here you can consult the travel guide for Philadelphia. The staff and volunteers here are also very enthusiastic. Help to give travel advice and answer consultation questions. There is also a small souvenir shop here, you can buy refrigerator stickers, books, postcards and other related Philadelphia souvenirs. There is also an exhibition in the visitor center. Although it will be more mini-pocket than the museum, it still does not affect the number of tourists here. If you come by car, there is also a parking lot on the ground floor of the independent palace visitor center for everyone to park. Although parking in downtown Philadelphia is not very convenient, parking spaces are not very easy to find. I recommend everyone to come to the underground parking lot of the visitor center to park. If you come in peak season, you need to come to the visitor center to apply for the ticket for the visit of the Independence Palace first, but I don&rsquo;t know if it&rsquo;s because of the epidemic. You don&rsquo;t need to get a ticket when you come. You can enter the visit directly.

The Independence Palace needs to book on the official website in advance. The ticket reservation fee of 1 yuan. The Free Bell has a separate exhibition hall, and the entrance needs to be checked. You can visit up close, you can walk to the free clock, you can surround 360 degrees before, but this time only opened 180 degrees, the other half stopped, but this advantage is that you can unlock a background free clock. The Liberty Bell was originally a palace in the Independence Palace, but was later displayed in the memorial on the lawn due to the cracking of the bell body. This time, the display stage at the visitor center was empty to another point of knowledge. When it arrived in Philadelphia in 1752, it first appeared a crack, and after several repairs there were cracks, so it was abandoned. And it was the clock that struck on July 4, 1776.
