The MTB Clinic—Essentials (Youth) offers a unique opportunity for riders between the ages of 8 and 14 to develop their technical skills, engage in drills, and most importantly, have fun! Whether they are beginners or experienced riders, participants will learn the necessary skills to safely enjoy mountain biking on various trails, including rock gardens and more challenging terrains. With a focus on personal growth and exploration, riders will have the freedom to set their own pace and tackle different features and obstacles. Our experienced coaches are dedicated to providing individualized feedback that enhances technique, boosts confidence, and fosters a sense of community among participants. During the clinic, riders will have the chance to review and practice essential skills in a controlled environment, with a particular emphasis on body positioning, as well as technical elements such as braking, shifting, and steering. The clinic will include small features, drills, and demonstrations to ensure a well-rounded learning experience. Hosted by Hale Education, Inc., in Westwood, MA, this clinic is part of our broader youth mountain biking program that has been expanding over the past six years.
