The 37th Annual Muskegon Area Sports Hall of Fame Induction Dinner & Fundraiser is a prestigious event celebrating local sports legends and raising funds for the Muskegon Area Sports Hall of Fame. This year's induction ceremony will honor outstanding athletes such as the electrifying receiver and defensive back for Big Red football, a prominent figure in Muskegon Hockey history, a standout soccer player and executive, and a legendary State Champion football team. The 2024 induction class includes Muskegon High School football player Ronald Johnson, Muskegon Fury player Todd Robinson, University of Michigan soccer star Matt Schmidt, and the 1971 Muskegon High School State Championship football team. The event, taking place at the VanDyk Mortgage Convention Center in Muskegon on June 8, 2024, will feature a social hour at 5:00pm, followed by a plated dinner at 6:00pm and the program at 7:00pm.
