Welcome to our One-Day Linocut Workshop at 50 Hurst Street Studios! On this day you will learn all the skills needed to make linocut prints. We will cover all parts of the process from image composition, image transfer and carving techniques, to taking a print. We will teach you to operate our printing presses, but we will also show you how to print by hand. With the skills you learn on our course, you should be able to continue to exploring linocut printmaking at home. This course is taught by Robin and Rosie from The Wytham Studio. We only take a maximum of 6 on each course so you will receive a lot of 1:1 attention. No prior experience is necessary but if you do have some experience, because of our high staff to student ration we will be able to tailor what you learn to what your needs are. You can learn one-block or multi-block printing on this course. We provide all materials you will need on the course, all we ask you to bring are ideas for your print. Please do ask us if you have any questions about the course. We are running this course on 8/2, 8/3 and 19/4, please do make sure you book on the right course for you.

The Bridge of Sighs (Oxford University, UK) is officially called Hertford Bridge. It is a famous attraction at Oxford University. The construction of the Bridge of Sighs began in 1913 (completed in 1914). It crosses New College Road and connects the old and new parts of Hertford College. It is a famous attraction at Oxford University. It was designed by Sir Thomas Jackson. Because the bridge is similar to the Bridge of Sighs in Venice, Italy, it is called the Bridge of Sighs. I came to Oxford University with a tour group and could only take a quick look.

The Bodleian Library - University of Oxford is the main library of the University of Oxford. It is one of the oldest libraries in Europe (opened in 1602) and the second largest in the UK after the British Library. library. This is one of the 6 statutory libraries in the UK. All Oxford publications will be automatically sent to this collection upon publication. There are many branches under the library, among which the Radcliffe Camera branch has become an important landmark of Oxford University.
