Get ready for a spooktacular event in Madrid, NM! Join the Paint-Sip-Chill Madrid for their Beginner Portrait Painting III class at the Mad Contemporary Gallery and Art Center. This exciting class will teach you how to paint a portrait from a live model dressed as a cowgirl. No experience is necessary, and all materials will be provided. 

During the 2.5-hour class, you will learn to successfully draw facial proportions and paint skin color while understanding light and shadow. Whether you're a beginner or an advanced painter, this class is perfect for you. Not only will you expand your artistic ability, but you'll also be inspired by the beautiful Southwest and New Mexico culture.

The class will be held on October 26, 2023, at 6:30 PM. Please arrive at 6 PM to get situated. Lite snacks and wine will be provided, and the event is for those aged 21 and over. COVID guidelines are also in place, and anyone feeling unwell should stay home.

Tickets are available for $36, and there is a twelve-seat limit, so make sure to buy your tickets early. Walk-ins are welcome, but availability is not guaranteed, so it's best to email cherylcasden@gmail.com by 4 PM to check availability.

I went to queue early in the morning. One line was for buying tickets on-site, and the other was for those who already had tickets, so don&#39;t queue in the wrong line! The staff were friendly, and the palace was luxurious and worth seeing.

The Prado Museum, located in Madrid, Spain, is one of the world&#39;s most important art museums, renowned for its vast collection of Spanish and European art.

We arranged a last-minute tour with Haitao, a guide found on Xiaohongshu (a Chinese social media platform), who led us through the Prado for two hours, and we spent the remaining two hours exploring on our own. Photography was not allowed in the exhibition areas.

The most memorable work was Bosch&#39;s *The Garden of Earthly Delight*. For that era, the imagination was so profound; it&#39;s like a science fiction work that our time cannot surpass, expressing the boundless desires of humanity.
