Our Pay and Play sports are led by students for students. Campus Sport Assistants deliver these informal, fun, relaxed sessions. Open to all beginners, and/or those who just want to make friends, play social level sport and maintain a minimum level of fitness. These sessions can be paid for on a 'pay as you play' basis of £3.50 a session, (see seperate booking events) or you can book to join for the whole year for £75 (just £3 a session, opposed to £3.50 a session).

Christchurch can be called the most beautiful city in the South Island of New Zealand, and it is known as the Garden City. I think it is very suitable for citywalks. You can basically walk to all the attractions here, and you can fully experience the city&#39;s style.
This time, Christchurch&#39;s favorite attraction - Christchurch Botanic Gardens 🏕️

At first, an oak tree was planted to commemorate the marriage of Queen Victoria&#39;s eldest son. Now the entire green area occupies almost 1/4 of the left half of the city center of Christchurch (about 30 hectares). Next door is Hagley Park, and I deeply feel the &quot;waste&quot; of New Village with a large land and few people. Different seasons have different beauties. In spring, you can check in at the cherry blossom avenue in Hagley Park. Early summer to early autumn is a good season for viewing roses and hydrangeas, and late autumn is accompanied by red maples.

The main attractions in the park include:
🌹Rose Garden: This is the first time in my life that I know there are so many different varieties of roses. The colorful roses are the most suitable to describe the beautiful scenery in front of me.

🚣Rafting on the Avon River: You can choose to kayak yourself or have a boatman row a boat. Friends who don&rsquo;t want to take a boat can find a bench along the Avon River in the botanical garden and wave to friends on the boat. If you are lucky, you will see a mother duck bringing a group of ducklings ashore to play.

☕️Visitor Center: A white building located in the central area of ​​the park. You can visit the ILEX Buy coffee or food at the Cafe. Friends who choose to eat outside, please protect your food at all times. The birds around are watching closely. I witnessed with my own eyes that the tourist next door left her seat for less than 10 seconds, and a big bird took away her entire burger. Even I, who was sitting in the seat, was robbed of my beloved hash browns without paying attention.

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing punting on the Avon River in Christchurch, and it was an absolutely delightful way to explore the city. The journey itself was serene and picturesque, offering a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life.Our guide, dressed in traditional Edwardian attire, expertly navigated the flat-bottomed boat with a long pole, allowing us to relax and take in the tranquil surroundings. We drifted past lush greenery, charming bridges, and historic architecture, all of which created a postcard-perfect backdrop. The gentle pace of the punting made it easy to fully appreciate the beauty of the Christchurch Botanic Gardens and the calm waters of the river.The entire experience was wonderfully calming, yet never dull. It turns out that the scenery is not as good as the online ones, and the scenery on the way to New Zealand is actually not worse than this. In short, it&#39;s okay.
