Pedal with Pride 2025
 is an event intended for members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community aged 15 or older. It is a fun-filled day of mountain biking for folks completely new to the sport and for beginners who already bike. No prior experience is needed — just a sense of adventure!
We will start the day with a lesson by 
Dialed In Cycling
, followed by a lunch and a social ride on the world-class trails here in Squamish, BC led by 
HILLTOP MTB
. Bikes provided for this event will be “hardtail” mountain bikes (with front suspension, no rear suspension).
Adaptive riders are welcome. Please message sierra@sorca.ca if you would like to attend.
This year, we are expanding the event to include two groups:
 Introductory and Beginner
.
Introductory: Folks who are comfortable on a commuter, road, or gravel bike, but have never touched a mountain bike or have been on a mountain bike less than 5 times
Beginner: Folks who have been on a mountain bike and are comfortable on green trails, OR anyone willing to be a little more adventurous and put themselves out there!
There will be a prize draw, with an assortment of bike apparel generously donated by 
Dharco

Schedule
11:45 am - Arrive at Dialed In Cycling (1796 Depot Rd), Sign Waivers*, Bike Fitting
12:00-2:00 pm - Lesson provided by Dialed In Cycling
2:00-3:00 pm - Picnic / Late Lunch
3:00-5:30 pm - Social Ride led by HILLTOP MTB
After the social ride, we highly encourage folks to continue to mingle and connect!
*You will be required to sign liability waivers upon arrival. Participants under 19 years old will need to bring liability waivers signed by a parent and/or legal guardian.
Cost
$15 for SORCA members
$30 for non-SORCA members (
Interested in becoming a SORCA member?
 All funds go back into trail maintenance and advocacy, ensuring the trails you love are kept in great shape)
Helmets (provided with rental) and closed toe shoes are mandatory in this session.

This was an incredible experience! The views eating lunch at the top were amazing. Looking down over the lake and mountain ranges. The suspension bridge was incredible! This is a must do experience. There is a cafe with grab and go items and a restaurant at the top. There are shops both at the top and bottom of the gondola with fun items!The ride isn&#39;t for those with height fears as the gondola does jerk and shift throughout the ride. The hike might be more height fear friendly.its nice trip

The Sea to Sky Highway is a very famous highway in Vancouver. If you drive slowly along the way, you will see beautiful scenery one after another. There are both sea and green mountains here, and the scenery is quite good.

The entire Shannon Falls is particularly spectacular. Although it cannot be compared with the Huangguoshu Waterfall, the surrounding scenery can fully make up for the few shortcomings here. The scenery is picturesque, with beautiful mountains, clear waters and fresh air.
