Playwriting for the Actor is an introduction to playwriting course offered every Thursday afternoon from 2.00pm to 4.00pm, running from 22nd February to 4th April 2024. This six-week course is designed for aspiring playwrights who want to develop their writing skills. Led by established playwrights, participants will explore the fundamentals of playwriting, gaining the knowledge, skills, and understanding needed to progress in this field. The sessions will cover various aspects of playwriting, including finding and developing ideas, understanding narrative structure and plot, developing characters, nurturing individual voice, writing dialogue, and learning how to submit work to producers and theatres. These classes provide a supportive and rigorous environment for writers to hone their craft. It is important to note that participants are required to book all seven sessions as the course is progressive. Playwriting for the Actor is committed to breaking down barriers to access in professional actor-training and welcomes actors from underrepresented groups. 🏰 Westminster Abbey, it&#39;s really shocking! 📍 It&#39;s located in central London, close to the Parliament Building and Big Ben. The church is a prominent representation of British Gothic architecture, towering spires, exquisite carvings and beautifully painted glass windows, each detail shows an unparalleled artistic charm. Walking into the church, as if through time and space, is the holy place of the crowning of the British royal family, witnessing countless important moments in history. It is also a resting place for many celebrities, and great figures such as Newton, Darwin, Dickens have slept here, making people respect their contributions. Walking around, you can feel the solemnity of religion and the deep historical and cultural heritage. The church&#39;s Henry VII chapel is exquisite, with a fan-shaped arched roof and densely carved decorations, like a fairy tale fairyland. Whether it is an architecture lover or a historical and cultural fan, Westminster Abbey is definitely worth a visit. I believe you will be deeply impressed by its charm like me. 💕 highly recommend it to everyone! 💕
