Experience the Poetry, Prose & Print workshop with acclaimed poet Antony Dunn at the Salts Works in Shipley. This captivating two-hour workshop will immerse you in the art of storytelling through prose and poetry. Join Antony Dunn, Poet in Residence at the University of York and Ilkley Literature Festival, for a dynamic mix of reading, writing, and conversation games. Throughout the workshop, you will craft your own unique micro-poem, a reflection of your own words and ideas.

Following the workshop, you'll have the opportunity to unleash your creativity on the People Powered Press, the World Record-holding letterpress. In this hands-on two-hour masterclass, you'll set your words in the press using our enormous steel letters. The result? Your very own masterpiece – a giant print that you've created yourself.

Antony Dunn, an experienced tutor for the Arvon Foundation and the Poetry School, has published four collections of poetry and has collaborated with poets from around the world. His expertise and guidance will ensure an enriching and inspiring experience.

Come prepared with a notebook and a writing utensil, and wear comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting a little dirty – though we will provide you with an apron. If you have long hair, please bring something to tie it back. Avoid wearing flowy or baggy sleeves to ensure safety around the press.

The ticket price includes refreshments, a locally-sourced lunch, and a limited edition visual booklet that tells the fascinating story of the People Powered Press and the creation of Graft.
