Goldsmiths Musical Theatre proudly presents our graduating class in Promenade, an experimental musical rarely seen in the UK.Described by the New York Times as “a joy from start to finish,” Promenade follows two convicts as they escape into society, seeking pleasure and sin. This 1965 off-Broadway masterpiece features a “timeless, relaxed, and melodious” score by Al Carmines—with book and lyrics by avant-garde legend María Irene Fornés. Join us for this “wickedly amusing musical,” an unconventional romp that challenges the limits of musical theatre.
