The Quotable Speaker Series: Ari Seth Cohen, renowned photographer and author, will be hosting a book-signing event from 2-3:30 PM at the Sarasota Art Museum. This series, presented by the museum, invites visitors to engage with influential artists, curators, and contemporary creatives who bring fresh perspectives to the realms of art, architecture, and creative practice. The SAM Quotables is a gathering place in Sarasota for individuals to share innovative ideas and find inspiration.

Ari Seth Cohen's journey began in 2008 when he started capturing the captivating style of older women he encountered on the streets of New York. Initially, his motives were to form connections and commemorate his grandmother's passing. However, this humble project has since blossomed into the Advanced Style movement – a vibrant community focused on embracing vitality as individuals age. Cohen's blog, Advanced Style, served as a platform for documenting and sharing his observations, leading to the creation of four books, including Advanced Style, Advanced Love, Advanced Style: Older and Wiser, and The Advanced Style Coloring Book. In addition, a 2014 documentary directed by Lina Plioplyte was produced.
