By drawing from cinematic innovation and utilizing various mediums such as paintings, sculptures, and drawings, Rose connects the present with deep time. The films showcased include "Sitting Feeding Sleeping" (2013), "A Minute Ago" (2014), "Everything and More" (2015), "Lake Valley" (2016), and "Wil-o-Wisp" (2018). These films tackle themes of mortality, history, and our place in the infinite universe, incorporating footage from cryogenics labs, space stations, and even nineteenth-century illustrations. Rachel Rose's work has been exhibited internationally, and this is a unique opportunity to experience her thought-provoking films.
