THE PHILIPPINES 3 weeks guide Book your accommodation in part of Manila called Makati, where all the restaurants, street food, and shops are. On the morning of day 2 catch a flight to Coron. After arriving in Coron town, get yourself a bike for around 600 pesos per day. One day will be enough as Coron Island on its own is not really exciting so you won't really need much time for exploring. The best thing about Coron is the surrounding islands around and therefore the Island hopping tours. On day 4 in the morning, you will board the ferry to Palawan, El Nido. It costs around 1760 pesos per person and takes around 5 hours. But it´s worth it because now you are at one of the most spectacular places of this Philipines El Nido is a town on the very north of Palawan Island and is home to many pristine white sandy beaches and chilled vibes. From El Nido on day 7 in the morning join a van going to Puerto Princesa. In Puerto Princesa, you can visit Iwahig Open Prison and treat yourself in some nice accommodation as we did. Cebu Island is where the best waterfalls are. Words can´t describe how much fun it is to hike all the waterfalls levels! On the morning of day 8, you will arrive by plane from Puerto Princesa to Cebu Island. From the airport make your way directly down to Moalboal. That is where all the accommodation and restaurants for tourists are and you will be closer to all the waterfalls and sunrise hikes. Just a 2 hours long ferry ride from Cebu will bring you to Bohol Island. An Island with such unique landscapes has a lot to offer! Rice terraces, sunrise hikes, the chocolate hill, waterfalls, cave... But the main reason for a lot of people going to Bohol is Tarsier. The tiny little monkey-like looking animal is endangered spices and active only during the night. Stunning waterfalls, lovely local people and slow life are waiting for you on Siquijor Island. From Siquijor Island to Siargao - your last stop.

Just wrapped up a 3D2N getaway at Manila Bay and honestly? It was part chill, part chaos, all charm. Whether you’re a history buff, a sunset chaser, or just hungry all the time (me), this one’s for you! 🌴✨ ⸻ 🛬 Day 1: History, Parks & Golden Hours 🕘 9:00 AM – Landed and headed straight to Rizal Park 🌳. It’s peaceful, patriotic, and smells like morning grass and food carts. 🕛 12:00 PM – Popped over to Intramuros 🏰 – Manila’s walled city! Explored cobblestone streets and felt like a character in a colonial novel. 🕒 3:00 PM – Stepped into San Agustin Church ⛪ – jaw-dropping interiors, soft light filtering in, and the air thick with history. 🕕 6:00 PM – Sunset along Manila Baywalk was a fiery masterpiece 🔥🌅. Locals were jamming, kids roller-skating, lovers vibing – pure Manila. 🕗 8:00 PM – Dinner near Malate Church (Our Lady of Remedies) 💒 – classic Filipino soul in architecture. Ended the night with halo-halo by the street. Cold. Sweet. Epic. ⸻ 🐠 Day 2: Culture, Ocean Creatures & Mega Malls 🕘 9:00 AM – Started with a splash at Manila Ocean Park 🐠 – stingrays, sharks, and even penguins. Kid me was living. 🕛 12:30 PM – Lunch nearby: veggie pancit + fresh buko juice 🥥. Light, refreshing, so Filipino. 🕒 3:00 PM – Explored the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) 🎭 – modern art meets heritage. Caught a local dance rehearsal by chance! 🕕 6:00 PM – Back to the bay for another golden hour, this time with grilled corn and fish balls in hand 🌽🐟. 🕗 8:00 PM – Night stroll past Malate. Smell of street BBQ everywhere. Tip: say yes to banana cue 🍌🔥. ⸻ 🛍️ Day 3: Shop & Soak It In 🕘 10:00 AM – Mall of Asia time! 🛍️ Huge, shiny, and air-conditioned (thank goodness). Coffee, souvenirs, and a giant Ferris wheel ride for the views 🎡. 🕛 12:00 PM – Last lunch: tofu sisig and garlic rice. Simple but chef’s kiss 👌 🕑 2:00 PM – Quick visit to San Agustin again – had to say goodbye properly. Then… Grab to the airport. ⸻ ✨ Tips & Tales 👟 Walk lots – wear comfy shoes. 💡 Be curious – Manila rewards wanderers. 🍴 Try local snacks. Even balut. Once. 😅 ⸻ Verdict? Manila Bay is a mix of soul, salt air, and stories. Already planning round two 🌊🇵🇭💙
