As a bonus, you'll learn some actions you can take to improve your relationship with these fascinating ecosystems.
Intended for families and students ages 8 and up, this activity was originally designed by the UQAM BiCÉAB Chair, which conducts research in aquatic sciences, and developed and produced by the firm TKNL.

I took a quick look at the Biosphere Environmental Museum 45 minutes before closing. The exhibition was well organized. The top floor exhibition hall was displaying a plan for 14 plots of land for future urban planning. Some of the ideas were quite imaginative, such as life on the water 50 years later. The second floor exhibition hall introduced the urban pressure and response plans brought by Montreal&#39;s continuous hosting of various large-scale public festivals.
The history of the biosphere itself is also quite interesting. It was once the American Pavilion of the World Expo held in Montreal in 1967. Later, it was changed to other uses and was covered with a skin until a fire in 1976 burned it down, but the steel structure was intact. It reopened in 1995 as a hydrological museum and was redefined as an environmental museum in 2007.

Completed in 1829, this religious landmark, with its twin towers, flying buttresses, and pointed arched portico, evokes the majestic silhouette of a medieval castle. Its deep blue dome is adorned with golden stars, its carved walnut altar is covered in 24-karat gold leaf, and its 7,000-pipe organ and stained glass windows weave sacred music. Witnessing both Celine Dion&#39;s wedding and the state funeral of a former Canadian prime minister, its AURA light show, a 45-minute spectacle, juxtaposes 19th-century stonework with digital art, creating a magical space-time experience. From its stained windows in the morning light to its nighttime spectacle of sound and light, this &quot;Little Notre-Dame&quot; remains a timeless landmark where faith and art intertwine.
